Resource Label Group (RLG), a full-service provider of label and packaging solutions, has acquired Beyer Graphics, located in Commack, NY, USA. Beyer Graphics will become part of RLG Healthcare, a specialty pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging business of Resource Label Group.

Beyer Graphics represents the 32nd acquisition for RLG and the third addition to the RLG Healthcare business.

“It is an exciting time for RLG Healthcare as we continue to rapidly grow and expand our commitment to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries,” states Kevin Grogan, CEO of RLG Healthcare. “The addition of Beyer Graphics will immediately strengthen our service, quality, and product offering to our customers.”

Plus, Labels Unlimited is experienced in digital label production, having brought that service in-house in 2017. This experience helped expedite their investment in Durst technology in 2022. “I was looking for more speed with consistent quality and colors, along with lower running costs,” says Rami Akhras, owner of Labels Unlimited. “Print speed, quality, productivity, and versatility are all critical for us. We were not willing to compromise, and with Durst, we didn’t need to.”

Now faced with slower digital printers and aging flexo technology, Akhras made the investment in a second Durst RSC E to replace that equipment. 

Durst RSC E technology features 1200 dpi quality, print speed of 170 fpm (upgradeable to up to 262 fpm), and what Durst says is unparalleled uptime. “We continue to move more and more jobs to digital from flexo, and we need digital printers we can count on that are easy to operate. We have been able to easily transition jobs to the two RSC E printers and produce exceptional labels at fast speeds with very little waste or downtime.” Arkhas adds. “The RSC Es allow us to offer the best labels on the market at the most competitive prices.”
